Hello from beyond!

This post features an important announcement, which I figure I'll put in the beginning so you cant miss it. Aside from this entry, I WILL NOT CONTINUE TO POST ON THIS BLOG SITE FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH. I've shifted my attention to a vlog of short videos on Youtube. You can watch all of my videos here, which I post daily. https://youtube.com/@jonahmesple?si=DCIMFb_1wmOv0dZf Now, onto some summary:

Clearly, it has been over 3 months since my last blog post. My apologies to those of you who relied on the blog for updates. Everything has gone smoothly since that point, and I'll share a few highlights in this post.

The rest of my time in India was magical, and I learned a lot not only about Carnatic music but about myself and my inner spirit: peace, discipline, reading, and healthy habits were a huge point of focus for me. I continued on to audition to Berklee in Thailand (and got accepted later that month!), and spent a few unbelievably beautiful weeks in the mountains of north India.

After that marked my return to the Western World, starting with a lovely restorative visit with my mom, Greg (step dad), and Xochi (step sister) in Ireland. It was so nice to let my guard down and let my loving family take the wheel for a while. From Ireland I said farewell to them and continued on a 5 day train journey to Spain with stops in Holyhead (Wales), London, Rotterdam, and Lyon. Once I entered Spain, I met with my dear friend Erin, and we traveled together for a week and a half. Around this time is also when I decided to cut my 12 month itinerary short and return at the end of May. I'm very happy with my decision and excited to come back home.

Alongside Erin, I made my way through Madrid, Valencia, Andorra, and France by train to end our trip in Milan. We shared some amazing memories and it was refreshing to have the company of someone I love and trust after half a year of solo traveling. Once Erin flew back to Cape Cod, I bought a bicycle in Milan. This marked the beginning of my bike trip through the Swiss Alps to Germany, which is covered in detail on my Youtube channel (and on instagram). I urge you to check it out!

Thank you to all of you amazing people who signed up to receive notifications for my blog. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I will cherish the memories I captured here for the rest of my life. Despite the fact that I return in under a month, the journey is not over.

Thank you for reading, see you on the other side!
Peace and much love, Jonah
